Brad Jones is a founding partner of Redpoint Ventures. Prior to founding Redpoint, Mr. Jones was a general partner with Brentwood Venture Capital, a firm he joined in 1981.
Mr. Jones currently focuses on communications, Internet and software opportunities that are located in Southern California. Mr. Jones has managed successful investments in communications, software, semiconductors, Internet infrastructure, Internet commerce and Internet content. He has led investments in communications companies such as ISOCOR and ComCore/National Semiconductor (NSM); Internet companies such as Sandpiper Networks/Digital Island/Cable & Wireless (CWP) and Stamps.com (STMP); and software companies such as Apriso and Filenet (FILE).
Mr. Jones received a B.S. in Chemistry and an M.S. in Physics from Harvard University. Mr. Jones also holds an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a J.D. from the Stanford Law School.
