David Castagna is a Managing Director at Cowen & Company. Mr. Castagna joined Cowen & Company in October 2003 and heads the firm’s Technology, Media and Telecom Group within investment banking. During his career Mr. Castagna has worked on a wide range of financing and strategic transactions across several different technology-related sectors. Prior to joining Cowen & Company, he was a Partner and Head of Technology Investment Banking at Thomas Weisel Partners and previously was a Principal in the Technology Corporate Finance Group at Montgomery Securities, focusing primarily on the communications equipment and semiconductor sectors. Mr. Castagna earned his B.A. summa cum laude from Brigham Young University and his M.B.A. from Stanford University.
