Jeff Blackburn

Jeff Blackburn is Vice President of Worldwide Business Development for Amazon.com, managing corporate development activities, strategic business development partnerships, advertising agreements, corporate investments, as well as merger and acquisition opportunities.

Prior to joining Amazon.com, Mr. Blackburn held various positions with Morgan Stanley, Interpublic Group/Marketing Corporation of America, and Bridgewater Associates. He also served as an Associate and Assistant Vice President for Deutsche Bank Technology Group, focusing on Internet software and infrastructure companies.

After joining Amazon.com in March 1998, Mr. Blackburn helped complete the Initial Public Offering of Amazon.com. His prior roles at Amazon.com include Vice President of Operations, General Manager of Hardlines Product Development, General Manager of Worldwide Digital, General Manager of Amazon.com Auctions, and Director of Business Development for acquisition partnerships with large Internet portal sites. Mr. Blackburn led many of Amazon.com’s corporate acquisitions and investments, including Exchange.com, Accept.com, Junglee, PlanetAll, IMDb, and Amazon’s early acquisitions and partnerships in Germany and the United Kingdom.

Mr. Blackburn earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and public policy from Dartmouth College and his master’s in business administration from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
