Aron Dantzig is the Co-Head of the Healthcare Group for the Drawbridge Special Opportunities Fund, the specialty finance fund of Fortress Investment Group. Fortress is an alternative money management firm with $22 billion of equity capital under management and over $40 billion of assets. Fortress actively deploys first and second lien senior secured debt for traditional health care borrowers. In addition, Fortress is an aggressive provider of non-dilutive financing structures for life sciences and specialty pharmaceutical companies, particularly those with strong assets, IP and revenue but might not yet be generating positive EBITDA. Prior to joining Fortress, Aron was at American Capital executing mezzanine debt and leveraged buyouts for middle market companies. Mr. Dantzig started his career with Lehman Brothers in New York, where he worked in the Leveraged Finance Group structuring a variety of bank and bond transactions in conjunction with the firm’s investment banking clients. Aron earned his Juris Doctorate and Masters of Business Administration from Case Western Reserve University and holds a BS in Finance from The Ohio State University.
