Based in Santa Barbara, we target California's Central Coast and the Greater Los Angeles area. We are early-stage investors, typically following an angel round as a company's first institutional investor. We focus on the software and technology-enabled services sectors (for both businesses and consumers), but are excited to talk to entrepreneurs about other compelling opportunities within the technology landscape as well. We initially invest $500,000 to $1.5 million, and expect to invest an average of $3-4 million over the life of a portfolio company.
