| The Fat Cat Club is a national group of up to 100 accredited investors that meets quarterly to review and invest in early-stage companies. At each meeting, the members select between four and eight companies to review and give the presenters time for a very in-depth evaluation of their opportunities (45 minute presentations plus 30 minutes of Q&A). The proceedings are recorded for members unable to attend the meetings in person and posted on the Club’s website where members can discuss the opportunities in a private forum.
All of the members are investors, with no salesmen, finders, or investment bankers allowed. Collectively, the members invest anywhere from $500,000 to $2 million dollars in deals that interest them, although the members invest as individuals. The Club requires both the members and the presenters to sign agreements protecting privacy and the integrity of the Club.
Members of The Fat Cat Club are interested in a wide variety of deals, including both equity and debt opportunities, however, the members are especially interested in those companies which have the potential for tremendous returns on in investment within two to five years.
